OUR FUNDING IN THE COMMUNITY

Looking back, 2024 was a remarkable year for the Redhawk Foundation.  Our community mini-grant program continues with great success, supporting over dozens of youth programs with $37,000 in funds that will be directed toward supporting enrollment fees, fostering community outreach initiatives, procuring essential equipment, and enhancing facilities and playing fields.  Bringing our grand total to over $100,00 to Natick programming.

These grants were only made possible through the ongoing support of our local community for events such as the Boston Marathon, the Redhawk Cup, and the Redhawk Auction.  Thank you for your continuous generosity and your commitment to our mission.

Our foundation is proudly funded by community support and provides grants to Natick youth programming groups that are dedicated to fostering participation in educational, recreational, and cultural activities.

Eligible groups include, but are not limited to, nonprofit youth programs in areas such as sports, arts, STEM, and more. Grants are available for up to $5,000 each, with preference given to projects that secure matching local funds.

By investing in these programs, we help create meaningful opportunities for young people in our community.

OUR MISSION

The Redhawk Foundation, a fund of the Foundation for MetroWest, was established in 2021 to provide financial support for Natick’s youth programs. Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of financial circumstances, has the opportunity to participate in local sports and activities.

We are dedicated to community outreach, helping cover the costs of league and class fees, upgrading equipment, and improving facilities and playing fields. Our greatest passion is supporting underprivileged youth, for whom registration fees, camps, private lessons, and gear can be overwhelming—especially for families with multiple children. No child should miss out due to financial barriers, and we strive to make participation possible for all.

Since our founding, we have awarded $100,000+ in grants to dozens of youth-focused organizations in Natick, made possible through our annual Redhawk Cup, Silent Auction, and generous private donations. We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our sponsors and community members, whose generosity helps us make a lasting impact.

Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community—one opportunity at a time.
